What’s Itoigawa like?
About Itoigawa
Itoigawa is located more or less in the centre of Japan. Both the sea and the mountains are close by, and so you can live surrounded by abundant nature. The Fossa Magna, a large geological trench created when the Japanese archipelago was born, is here, and you can find a wide variety of stones, including jade, so Itoigawa is known as “stone town”.
